FAQs
How are unique monthly active users (MAUs) calculated?
A user is counted if they log in at least once a month or when an embedded wallet (including pre-generated wallets) is created for them.
When a user logs in for the first time, they are assigned a unique Dynamic ID. If they log in again, they remain linked to their original Dynamic ID and are counted as a single user for that month.
If the same user adds additional verified credentials (e.g., wallet, email, or social accounts) to their account, they still retain the same Dynamic ID and are counted only once for payment purposes.
What is the difference between connected users and Monthly Active Users?
A connected user is a user that used the Dynamic connect functionality to expose their public address to the app. An authenticated user is one that signed a SIWE message, proving that they are the wallet owner.
